College was not for me straight out of HS, so I joined the Army as an infantry medic and spent 3 years and some change in Germany. It was the G.I. Bill that paid my LPN and RN education bills. Now just working as a RN at the VA; paying alot of taxes; rearing my children, with my wife (met her in the Army) with teachings of self accountability. In the Army Reserves now, awaiting deployment.
